Radiohead’s Thom Yorke Plays Surprise DJ Set For Eight People

A handful of attendees at the Leopallooza music festival in Cornwall, England got a surprise on Saturday night when Radiohead‘s Thom Yorke played an unannounced DJ set, according to the London Evening Standard (via NME). Apparently, Yorke went on just around 2:30 a.m., playing to just eight people—some of whom had no idea they were watching the singer of one of the world’s biggest bands.

The Evening Standard quotes one onlooker as saying, “He’s probably the most influential artist of the past decade and here he is prepping to play to half a dozen drunk hippies.” Even better, Yorke was apparently pushed into dancing with some of them. Too bad no one was sober enough to take a Vine.

It probably looked something like the video for “Lotus Flower”, though:
